Page 5 There & Back Again is a high energy dance rock band with influences that span the entire history of rock music.
Composed of John Woitko on lead vocals, Mike Manganelli on bass, Jeff Bonomo on drums, Pat Hoodie Manganelli on keyboards and Joe Somerdak on lead guitar, There & Back Again boasts a set list so diverse some say it's like putting your iPOD on shuffle. The band's show breaks down musical boundaries and allows the crowd to enjoy an eclectic mix of music that they love. Although the music may be varied, what holds it all together is the beat. It is all highly danceable, extremely recognizable popular music. The band's live show contains something for everyone including Classic Rock, 80s Hits, 70s Disco, Country, Modern Rock and everything in between. If you can dance to it, There & Back Again probably plays it.
Since the band's inception in 2002, There & Back Again has performed in numerous nightclubs throughout northeastern Pennsylvania and volunteered for various charity events and fundraisers. These events include The Annual American Cancer Society Telethon, several Relay for Life events, Serento Gardens Seasons Change, and The Hurricane Katrina Relief Telethon.
In January 2006 the band released their first album of original material titled Time Cures Everything. A video for the title track was produced and the band appeared on local TV shows such as Your Life, Community Awareness, The L.A. Tarone Show and WYLN News. The band has been featured in several Standard-Speaker newspaper articles including a front-page story. This article, written by Jeff Drumheller, highlighted John's story as a cancer survivor and what brought the album to life. They also received a very favorable album review by veteran journalist L.A. Tarone, including an honorable mention in his top albums of 2006 list, appeared in the monthly magazine Panorama and Alan Stout's column "Music On The Menu" in The Weekender Magazine. The title track received radio airplay on WKAB 103.5 FM.
The title track "Time Cures Everything" has been featured prominently in the promotion of the American Cancer Society Telethon and during the telethon's broadcast as the opening & closing theme. In 2006 & 2007, There & Back Again played a two-hour headlining show for the telethon broadcast throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. "Time Cures Everything" has gone on to sell well over 1200 copies and has received critical praise from area musicians as well as radio and TV veterans.

Page 12 End Of The Year Message From Jeff...
Hey everyone, on behalf of the band I would like to thank you for your continued support the last 8 years, Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you and your families! We love playing for all of you and hope to do so for many years to come.
2010 was a pretty awesome year for us; First of all, we didn't call it quits. Every year a band can say that should be a good year!
In 2010:
•we added a 6th member, our soundman Adam Arlotto who is making us sound better than ever
•our crowds continued to increase and we played several great new places
•we added more lights and sound equipment to make our show look and sound even better.
•we brought our upbeat, snappy, eclectic song selection to a wider audience than ever and we hope 2011 will branch us out even more.
As we enter 2011 we are working harder to make our shows even better. We are taking into consideration all of the suggestions sent to us by email and facebook and we want to make our shows even more fun. What you saw this past year is just the beginning. We may not be a big name band but we put on a show like one! This past year I really feel we have developed our show to be more than just 5 guys in the corner with instruments.
Last year at this time we were considering changing our name well guess what? A year later and we are still playing under the name There & Back Again. Looks like it is going to continue the way it is... Yeah some say the name doesn't fit us and hasn't since we shifted focus from classic rock to dance & party music years ago but it is what YOU know us as!
Plus we couldn't come up with a super awesome name that everyone liked so the idea died some time around February.
2010 was not with out its crappy moments but I wont spend time on them because over all it has been a great year for the band. I love playing in this cover band. I am surrounded by the best and most well rounded musicians I have ever played with. Not only are these people great musicians but they are also great friends and that makes jamming with them even better.
So thats it! See you in January!
-Jeff
Page 13 Dear Friends and Family,
As we approach the month of February, we are reminded of how fortunate we all are to be happy and healthy. Each year during this month, There and Back Again raises money for the American Cancer Society to help those who have been affected by this disease.
Instead of selling products to raise money for cancer this year, we are asking our friends and family to make a monetary donation. Our goal this year is to raise $1,500 and we need your help in reaching this goal. Any amount of donation would be great, cash or check. Every donation, no matter how small or large supports the research, patient services, early detection, treatment and education provided by the American Cancer Society. The ACS is dedicated to helping people who face cancer, and we are behind them 100%.
To make your tax-deductible donation, you may either mail a check, payable to the American Cancer Society, to us in the enclosed envelope or contact Theresa at 570-956-1845, to pick up your cash donation. On February 19th, we will be presenting all donations raised to the American Cancer Society on behalf of There and Back Again, their families and their friends.
With great appreciation,
There & Back Again & The Woitko Family
John, Theresa, Johnny and Jordy Woitko XO
